FANNOUNCEMENT: Florida Access Network’s New Executive Director, Danise C. Wilson, MPH

Florida Access Network is proud to announce that Danise C. Wilson, MPH (she/her), is serving as our new Executive Director!

Danise [Day-neese] is a transformational executive leader with more than 15 years of experience driving organizational growth, fiscal sustainability, and equity in the health and nonprofit sectors.

Nationally, Danise has worked to integrate equity principles into healthcare practice and education, spearheading initiatives that reached tens of thousands of students, professionals, and community members. She is recognized for her ability to bridge communities, institutions, and systems to create lasting impact rooted in justice, inclusion, and empowerment. 

Danise's vision is to guide FAN into a new chapter of stability and strategic clarity. Danise will focus on strengthening and expanding our fundraising and development efforts to cultivate long-term sustainability for our abortion funding and community engagement work. She will be working to strengthen FAN's operational foundation and ensure we achieve our mission in values-aligned, sustainable ways. As an abortion fund with a strong focus on community engagement, Danise will also proudly represent FAN at our events and movement spaces.

A lifelong advocate for community advancement, Danise has dedicated her career to expanding access, inclusion, and opportunity for underrepresented and marginalized populations.  At her core, Danise is a connector, mentor, advocate, and is dedicated to ensuring that every person and organization she touches is equipped to grow, lead, and thrive.
