It’s Our Pleasure

Our organization is dedicated to access, justice, and radical self-love.

We were born from the belief that Floridians shouldn’t have barriers to safe and legal abortions and sexual health, regardless of how our state votes politically. We’re proud of our Southern roots and see a future where all Floridians feel supported and liberated, loving who they love and how they love with no restraint.

Radicalizing sexual health means creating a community ready to demand justice, change, and progress. They need to be armed with resources, education, representation, and the confidence to stand up and resist–however that looks for them. We’re glad to be a trusted source where those with money and resources to spare can feel comfortable joining the fight.
Because we give a fuck about our bodies. And we’re not backing down until reproductive justice and sexual liberation are a reality for every body.

What We

Despite the patriarchy and systemic oppression trying their damn hardest to strip it from us, we’ll never lose our power. We promise to never stop helping our communities realize, reclaim, and nurture their power.

Power.

The fight for reproductive justice and sexual liberation is far-reaching and tough. We can’t and won’t go at it alone. We’re stronger together.

Collective.

This movement is unstoppable because it’s rooted in love. Love for our bodies, love for our communities, love for sex, love for justice.

Love.

There’s no reproductive justice without intersectionality. Nobody is free until all bodies are free.

Intersectionality.

Where We’ve Been

For all Floridians

After years of serving beyond our region, the Great Recession prompted CFLWEF to officially expand our service area and provide abortion access support across the entire state of Florida.

2019

We needed a name that communicated our commitment to usher in a future where reproductive justice and abortion access are a reality for every body. So, CFLWEF officially became known as Florida Access Network (FAN).

Stronger together

2020

From our long-standing partnership with Peer Support Space bloomed the Hibiscus Club– a virtual peer support group that provides community and a space for healing to those who have had abortion experiences.

When duty calls

FAN marched at the Florida Capitol for the first time and, in response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, raised over $300,000 for abortion care, participated in interviews with local and international media, and funded direct abortion care for 700 people.
