FAN Abortion Baddies Network
Ready to Shake the Table?
Apply now to join a passionate network of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ advocates committed to Reproductive Justice across Florida. Together, we’ll build power, embrace love, and advance justice. Let’s make change happen!
What is the FAN Baddies Network?
The FAN Baddies Network (BN) is a 4-month leadership development program designed for emerging Reproductive Justice advocates across Florida. The fellowship centers Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and LGBTQ+ youth, creating intentional space for young organizers to explore their power, creativity, and commitment to abortion access and collective liberation.
Through FAN’s core values—Power, Collective, Love, and Intersectionality—each cohort of “Baddies” gains hands-on experience, mentorship, and community connections to grow as compassionate, strategic leaders in Florida’s Reproductive Justice movement. We are expanding and looking for a total of 20 fellows to engage this year! We are accepting 10 Baddies per cohort, split into two seasons: Spring & Fall Cohorts.
Why Join the Baddies Network?
Deepen Your Knowledge: Gain a comprehensive understanding of Reproductive Justice, especially how social, political, and economic issues impact abortion access for marginalized communities.
Hands-On Experience: Gain experience in Narrative, Community, Grassroots and Creative Power to develop advocacy skills.
Community Building: Learn the art of mobilizing communities through impactful, sustainable engagement.
Leadership Development: Enhance your confidence as a Reproductive Justice advocate and cultivate skills to lead initiatives supporting abortion access and liberation for all.
What Will You Accomplish?
Training & Development: Participate in workshops on topics like Reproductive Justice 101, Mutual Aid, Organizing, and more. You’ll also have the opportunity to engage in two Activist Roundtable sessions to learn more about working in the organizing field.
Network Project: Work with FAN staff on curating one impactful Reproductive Justice project of your choice, addressing key community needs and empowering your advocacy.
Organizational Exploration: Attend at least one partner or movement event per month to expand your RJ network.
Mentorship & Support: Receive guidance from FAN’s experienced staff and participate in regular office hours to support your growth and fellowship tasks.
